Tailmade began with a simple, frustrating search.

Our founder, Austin, was on the hunt for a new dog bed—something made with clean, honest materials that would support his dog’s joints. But everything he found fell short. The aesthetic beds were filled with questionable chemicals, the comfortable-looking ones were covered with synthetic fabrics, and the labels that said “orthopedic” offered little support. For something as essential as sleep, there had to be a better standard.

So frustrated with no great options to choose from, he set out to create the bed that didn’t exist. One made with the same care you’d give to the people you love—comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully crafted from the inside out.
